learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, for the respondents 1 to 4.
2. The
learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were apprehended by the police on 15.02.2025 at about 08:00 A.M i; and they were confined to the police station till around 12:30 P.M. It is submitted that the 5‘^ respondent was also present in the police station at that i' time. However, the petitioners are implicated in Crime No.39 of 2025 which was registered on 16.02.2025 alleging offences under Sections 333, 115(2)
2 118(1), 74, 351(2), 79 read with 3(5) of BNS. As seen from the FIR, the occurrence of offence is alleged to have happened at 08:30 A.M. on 15.02.2025
3. The
learned counsel for the petitioners submits that 15.02.2025 at 08:30 A.M., the petitioners were in the police custody in the police station. In this regard, the petitioners are seeking a direction from this Court to 2"^^ respondent to collect and preserve the CC TV footages of Chebrolu Police Station from 07:00 A.M. on 15.02.2025 to 09:00 P.M 21.02.2025 and CC TV footages of Tenali Government Hospital from 12:30 P.M. on 15.02.2025 to 06:00 P.M. on 16.02.2025. The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that, so far as the police station is concerned, there should not be any difficulty. However, so far as CC TV footage of the hospital, the same shall be obtained from the concerned authority of the hospital, if available. Considering the above submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, directing the 2"'^ respondent to preserve the CC TV footages as directed above. No costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall as on on
