1. In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for a direction to the respondents to release the LTC benefits which are due to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the benefit of LTC for the year 2012, 2014 and 2016 was paid to the petitioner in November, 2022. However, the same has not been paid as per her entitlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, he will be satisfied if a direction be given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 11.03.2024 (Annexure P-2), by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner.

5. Ms.Samanpreet Kaur, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondents and files memo of appearance, which is taken on record.
Learned counsel does not object to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the legal notice dated 11.03.2024 (Annexure P- 2) served by the petitioner, within a period of 08 weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order by passing a speaking order in accordance with law. In event, the petitioner is held entitled for grant of relief as per the law as claimed in the legal notice, the same be also released within a period of 04 weeks thereafter.
