GP FOR HOME 2 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not transferring the Investigation in Crime No.34/226 on the file of the 4th Respondent to CBCID pursuant to representation dt.22.02.2022 as explained therein as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction besides violation of Art.14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents to transfer the investigation in Crime No.34/2022 on the file of the 4th Respondent to CBCID for an effective investigation to save the life of the Petitioner forthwith.” 2. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home brought to the notice of the Court that, on the representation made by the original Petitioner, who is no more, the case is transferred to the Sub Divisional Police Officer for the purpose of investigation. 3. Sri Kurra Srinivasulu, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the concerned Sub Divisional Police Officer, to whom the investigation was handed over, is directed to look into the grievance of the Petitioner, complete the investigation and file a report as expeditiously as possible, but not later than two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
