GP FOR HOME 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed by the Petitioner seeking the following relief: “... to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Writs, Order or Direction, declaring the action of Respondent No.3 to 5 in calling the petitioner and his family members to Police Station frequently without there being any crime registered against them and in interfering with the civil liberties of petitioner and civil disputes between the petitioner, his family members and the 6th Respondent, as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction and violative of Article 14 of Constitution of India and to consequently direct the Respondent No.3 to 5 not to interfere with the civil liberties of petitioner and his family members and not to interfere with the civil disputes between the petitioner, his family members and the 6th Respondent and also not to call the petitioner and his family members to Police Station without there being any crime registered against them . Award costs and pass such ....” None represented for the Petitioner. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that respondent Police never interfered with the civil disputes muchless the disputes of the Petitioner with the third parties and that respondent never summoned the petitioner or his family members to the police station and pressurised them to settle the civil disputes with respondent No.6 and would submit that petitioner filed this Writ Petition as a precautionary measure and to pre-empt the police from taking any action in the event of lodging any complaint against him or his family members and would submit that this Court may pass appropriate orders by disposing of this Writ Petition.
