This application has been filed under Section 528 B.N.S.S. for quashing the entire criminal proceedings and charge sheet dated 15.06.2024 in Case No.2188 of 2025 (State vs. Kanha Rana @ Deepak and others) in Case Crime No.217 of 2023 under Sections 384, 504 and 506 IPC, Police Station Sarsawa, District Saharanpur pending in the Court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate-III, Saharanpur, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties on 28.04.2025. 3. Vide order dated 20.05.2025, noticing the fact that parties have amicably settled the dispute, interim order was granted and the applicants were granted time to file supplementary affidavit annexing original/certified copy of the complete compromise. 4. Supplementary affidavit annexing therewith original compromise deed dated 25.04.2025 and affidavit is already on record. 5. Learned counsel for opposite party No.2 is present and in support of short counter affidavit, it is contended that compromise has been entered into between the parties. 6. Considering the aforesaid facts and nature of the proceedings involved, and followng the decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Gian Singh vs. State of Punjab (2012) 10 SCC 303 and Nikhil Merchant vs. Central Bureau of Investigation & Anr. (2008) 9 SCC 677, the application is allowed. 7. The proceedings of aforesaid case are hereby quashed.
