The prayer in the petition is to direct the 5th respondent -Special Land Acquisition Officer to consider - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:32933 WP No. 25319 of 2025 the application filed by the petitioner at Annexure-D in Form No.1 (in terms of Rule 41 of the Karnataka Land Grant Rules) dated 31.08.2015. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is a project displaced person and in terms of the scheme formulated by the Government, the petitioner is entitled for grant of an alternative land accordingly the application has been filed. Learned counsel submits that a spot inspection has been held and recommendation has been made to the Special Land Acquisition Officer for grant of land in favour of the petitioner.
