learned counsel for the NHAI and perused the material brought on the record.
2. By means of the instant petition preferred under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has prayed for following principal reliefs:-
"I. Issue a writ, order in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to consider the grievance of petitioner regarding the compensation of the petitioner's Araji acquired by the National Authority of India under the provision of National High Way Act, 1956 in respect of the Award made against the acquisition of the land of the petitioners. 4. Confronted with the above situation, Mr. Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the NHAI submits that NHAI has already granted the compensation to the retailers
and later on, the notice had also been issued to the petitioners on 25.4.2025 and in response thereof, at no point of time, the petitioner have filed any relevant documents to reply the same. However, he has very fairly conceded that in case, petitioners approach the Development Authority for redressal of their grievance, definitely the same shall be addressed in accordance with the law.
5. Considering the factual situation as emerged before us, we are not inclined to keep this matter for pending consideration. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to move a detailed representation along with the requisite papers before the competent Authority for disbursement of compensation within a period of two weeks. In case, any such representation/application is filed by the petitioners, we hope and trust that the same shall be considered and decided by the competent authority in accordance with law within a period of six weeks' from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
