Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already obtained permission from the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-IX, Ernakulam for reissue of the passport of the petitioner for a period of two years from the date of the order, i.e, 13.03.2025. It is submitted that, the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the application filed by the petitioner for reissue of passport taking into account Exhibit P2 order of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-IX, Ernakulam [in CMP No.1633 of 2025 in C.C. No.539/2019]. 3. Having heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and considering the limited nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, this writ petition will stand disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on any application that may have been filed by the petitioner for reissue of his passport, in accordance with the law, taking into 2025:KER:27162 WP(C) NO. 12449 OF 2025 3 consideration Exhibit P2 order of the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court-IX, Ernakulam, as expeditiously as possible.
