(FC) No.66 of 2024 Date of Decision: 03.07.2025 _____________________________________________________ Vinod Singh Bishat ....Petitioner Versus Geeta Devi …Respondent ____________________________________________________ Coram Hon’ble Mr. Justice Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Judge Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sushil Kukreja, Judge Whether approved for reporting? No. ________________________________________________ For the petitioner : Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Thakur, Advocate. For the respondent : Mr. Alvin Massey, Advocate. ________________________________________________ Tarlok Singh Chauhan, Judge (Oral) It is heartening to note that with the proactive role played by the learned Mediator, Mr. G.D. Verma, Senior Advocate, the parties have amicably settled their dispute in terms of the compromise deed that has been filed today in the Court, which is taken on record. 2. In terms of the compromise deed, the parties have agreed to withdraw all the litigations pending between them, which shall now be deemed to have been brought to an end henceforth. This would include the proceedings of divorce that are pending before the Hon’ble High Court of Uttarakhand. 2 Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:HHC:21076 ) 3. Petitioner Vinod Singh Bisht has paid the full and final settlement amount of maintenance to respondent Geeta Devi, by depositing the same in her bank account, which is duly acknowledged by her, who is present in person alongwith her counsel. 4. Now that the parties have compromised the matter, the instant revision petition is disposed of on the basis of compromise deed entered into between the parties, which shall form part and parcel of the decree. However, it is made clear that both the parties shall be bound by the compromise deed and shall take all effective steps in terms of the compromise deed entered into between them by cooperating fully in filing necessary applications/documents for withdrawal/settlement of all the cases pending in the respective Courts, the details whereof have been set-out in the compromise deed. It is further made clear that in case the parties or anyone of them, desire any assistance from this Court, they shall be at liberty to approach this Court by filing appropriate application in this regard. 5. The respondent states that she had handed over her Nursing Unique Identification (NUID) license to the petitioner, but the same appears to have been misplaced. 3 Neutral Citation No. ( 2025:HHC:21076 ) 6. In the given facts and circumstances, we deem it appropriate to direct the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi to supply fresh/duplicate licence to the respondent within 24 hours of producing copy of this order alongwith the requisite application and fee. Ordered accordingly. However, it is made clear that the respondent shall not be liable to pay any penalty whatsoever for the grant of said licence. The revision petition stands disposed of accordingly, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any. (Tarlok Singh Chauhan) Judge (Sushil Kukreja) July 03, 2025 Judge (VH)
