JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for all the respondents. 2. The petitioner is seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent-Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk, Chintamani, to consider the representation dated 19.08.2025 at Annexure-J and enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records based on the grant certificate dated 24.08.1995 at Annexure-F. Learned - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39229 WP No. 28812 of 2025 counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted land in Sy.No.18 to an extent of 4 acres and 20 guntas of Vaddahalli Village, Kaiwara Hobli, Chintamani Taluk. The petitioner was called upon to pay the kimath and the same was paid. Thereafter, saguvali chit was issued to the petitioner on 24.08.1995. However, the name of the petitioner has not been entered in the land records. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk, to verify from the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner, if the petitioner has paid the kimath and whether saguvali chit issued in favour of the petitioner. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:39229 WP No. 28812 of 2025 two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
