ORAL ORDER There is no possibility of amicable settlement.
2. Petition under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure with the following prayer:
“WHEREFORE, in light of the foregoing submissions and in the interest of justice, equity and good conscience, the petitioner most respectfully prays that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to: Transfer the matrimonial case in M.C.No.6665 of 2024 presently pending on the file of the II Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Bengaluru, to the Court of the Senior Civil Judge and JMFC, Shiggaon, Haveri District.”
3. Respondent/husband has filed a matrimonial case under Section 13(1)(ia) of the Hindu Marriage Act in M.C No.6665/2024 on the file of the Family Court, Bengaluru.
4. Geographical distance and the financial incapacity are the grounds urged by the petitioner to seek the transfer of divorce

petition from the Court at Bengaluru to Court at Shiggaon, Haveri District.
5. Those grounds are no longer available to seek the transfer of the pending matrimonial case in view of the videoconferencing facility.
6. Accordingly, directing the petitioner/wife to avail the videoconferencing facility, the petition needs to be dismissed.
7. If any application is filed by the petitioner/wife before the Family Court, Bengaluru, seeking permission to appear and participate in the matrimonial case through video conferencing, same shall be allowed by the learned Trial Judge.
8. With that observation, the following:
