Order:-
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner entered into an agreement with the 4th respondent for providing temporary water supply arrangements for construction activity for the layout at Vedurupavuluru–Package No.1 in Vijayawada Municipal Corporation from plots Nos.1 to 1250 under the Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu (NPI) Programme. It is submitted that the petitioner executed the work, which is evident from the entries recorded in the M-Book. The bills were also approved for payment; however, the payments have not been released.
3. The learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents does not dispute the completion of the work, but submits that the bills shall be paid after due verification.
4. Considering the submissions, the concerned respondents are hereby
directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed off. There shall be no order as to costs.
6. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
