GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of Respondents 3 and 4 in summoning us to the police station to settle our family disputes between us and our daughter in law as illegal, arbitrary and without any authority of law and consequently direct them not to summon us to the police station.” 2. None represented for the Petitioners. 2 3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint given by the daughter-in-law of the Petitioners, the Police called the Petitioners to the Police station, but they did not attend for counseling. It is further submitted that, no crime has been registered against the Petitioners. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to summon the Petitioners to the Police Station in the absence of any crime against them. There shall be no order as to costs.
