Counsel for the Petitioner: SRI VIJAY MATHUKUMILLI Counsel for the Respondents: GP FOR HIGHER EDUCATION Counsel for the Respondents: VIVEKANANDA VIRUPAKSHA Counsel for the Respondents: K RADHIKA SRK, J WP No.26762 of 2025 3 The Court made the following ORDER: The present Writ Petition has been filed for the following relief. “…..to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ, Order, or direction declaring the action of 5th respondent in not passing fresh orders duly notifying the change of the name of the petitioner institution from “BA and KR Degree and PG College” to “Aditya BA and KR Degree and PG College” despite respondents 2 and 4 considered the same and passed appropriate orders, thereby disabling the petitioner institution to participate in the online admissions counseling, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 2 and 4 to 6 to permit the petitioner institution to participate in APOAMDC online counselling.” 2. This Court, on 25.09.2025, passed the following interim order. “………….. Irrespective of the same, this Court perused the record and is of the opinion that the balance of convenience is in favour of the petitioner herein. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and since respondent Nos.2 and 4 have already approved to change of name, this Court directs 5th respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.09.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a SRK, J WP No.26762 of 2025 4 period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the order. Post after Dussehra Vacation, 2025.” 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner institution submits that the respondents have complied with the said interim order, hence no further orders are necessary to be passed in the present Writ Petition. 4. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
