The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.181 dated 25.04.2025 registered under Sections 351(2) & 75(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (Section 64(2) of BNS was added later on) at Police Station Civil Lines, Karnal. 2. As per office report, respondent No.2 has been duly served. However, there is no representation on behalf of her. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 12.05.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. 3. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Vikas, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation.
