And 3 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Ajitabh Choubey,Ankit Sharma,B.B.Rai Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C. Hon'ble Ajit Kumar,J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel. By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has challenged the order of punishment as well as order passed by the appellate authority. Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has an alternative efficacious remedy of revision before the competent authority of Police Establishment under the 1991 Rules. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not dispute the above legal position. In view of the above, I decline to grant indulgence in the matter of punishment at this stage. However, it is provided in the event petitioner prefers revision before the competent authority within a period of four weeks along with the certified copy of this order, the same shall be considered and disposed of within a further period of six weeks by passing reasoned and speaking order. With the aforesaid direction, this petition consigned to records. Order Date :- 13.5.2025 IrfanUddin Digitally signed by :- IRFAN UDDIN SIDDIKI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
