1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 14.09.2023, passed in CRMP No. 438 of 2017, while dismissed the same had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one year from production of the certified copy of this order without granting unnecessary adjournments to the parties, if there was no legal impediment.
3. Earlier on the occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 11.06.2025 passed in CRMP No. PREETI KUMARI Digitally signed by PREETI KUMARI Date: 2025.12.11 10:47:34 +0530

4. The Learned First Additional Sessions Judge, Bilaspur, District - Bilaspur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 28.11.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial.
5. It transpires from the perusal of the PUD that in the present case, the statements of a total of 104 witnesses have been recorded so far. The cross-examination of the witness on behalf of 2 accused persons is still pending, and the evidence of the investigating officer who submitted the supplementary charge-sheet is yet to be recorded. Hence, the conclusion of the trial is likely to take some more time. Therefore, he prays for grant of further time to conclude the same.
6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is
directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today.
7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
8. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
