Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 2. This petition has been filed seeking quashing of the order dated 7.4.2025 passed by the Joint Secretary, Anubhag-I of the Government of Uttar Pradesh transferring the petitioner from State Medical College, Agra to State Medical College, Saharanpur. Also under challenge are the order dated 8.4.2025 that appears on page 42 and the order dated 15.1.2025 that appears on page 25 of the writ petition. The order of 15.1.2025 reflects that the petitioner has been attached to the Medical College, Saharanpur. The letter of 8.4.2025 is merely a consequential order of the actual order of transfer dated 7.4.2025. 3. The sole contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that there is no post of 'Assistant Cook' in Medical College, Saharanpur and therefore, the petitioner cannot be transferred. 4. A perusal of the appointment order dated 24.2.2009 pertaining to the petitioner that is enclosed as Annexure No. 1 to the writ petition reflects that in clause (2) thereof the petitioner can be asked to do work in respect of the post in question as well as the work in the same category of posts in the concerned Medical College/Hospital/Institution. 5.
