GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING The Court made the following order: Aggrieved by the non-payment of bill amounts to the petitioner in relation to the completed contract works for construction of CC roads cum drains in Veerabhadruni Colony of Atchmpeta village, the present writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri K.Nirmal Datta, learned counsel representing learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Bala Krishna, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj Department. 3. Sri Bala Krishna, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj on written instructions dated 19.08.2025 submitted that, as against the claim made by the petitioner to a tune of Rs.9,04,698/- along with interest, the authorities have admitted to pay to a tune of Rs.9,15,387/- and sought time for such payment. 4. To the said submission, learned counsel for the petitioner reported no objection however prayed to grant reasonable time for such payment. 5. Taking into consideration the submissions of both the learned counsel and as the authorities are ready to pay the admitted amount to the petitioner, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition, at the admission stage with the following direction. The respondents are directed to release the legally admitted/entitled net amount of Rs.9,15,387/-(Rupees Nine Lakhs Fifteen Thousand Three Hundred and Eighty Seven) to the petitioner at the earliest, and at any rate, within a period of ten(10) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
