1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 12.04.2024 passed in MCRC No. 2179 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Balakdas Patre and Sumit Bisi had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Digitally signed by ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Date: 2025.11.12 11:19:45 +0530
2 accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Saraipali, District - Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 08.11.2024, requested for and was granted a further period of six months time to conclude the trial vide order dated 16.04.2025 in CRMP No. 1303 of 2025.
4. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Saraipali, District - Mahasamund (C.G.), vide its request letter dated 15.10.2025 has again come up before this Court requesting for grant of some more time to conclude the trial stating that case is fixed for recording evidence of prosecution witnesses, due to which, the case could not be concluded within the time period granted.
5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of six months from today.
6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order be sent to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
