1. Petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking following reliefs:-
“10.1 A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ do issue commanding and directing the respondent authorities to produce before this Hon’ble Court all the relevant records pertaining to the case of the petitioner. 10.2 A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ do issue directing the respondents to pay the honorarium for additional sitting days to the petitioner for the months of July, August, September, October, November, December 2024 and January 2025 to till date and all subsequent months as per the government order dated 14.03.2024. 10.3 A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ do issue directing the respondents to continue payment of honorarium for additional sitting days to the petitioner as long as there is vacancy in the Juvenile Justice Board and the petitioner is required to attend additional sittings. 10.4 A writ and/or an order in the nature of appropriate writ do issue directing the respondents to provide monetary compensation to the petitioner for the harassment and mental agony caused due to non-payment of legitimate honorarium. 10.5 Any other relief which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit in the facts and circumstances of the case. 10.6 Cost of the petitioner may also be awarded.”
2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioner was appointed as member of Juvenile Justice Board. She was paid according to the rules, however, due to unavailability of members in other Juvenile Justice Board she has to work for more hours and therefore, considering the difficulty faced by member of Juvenile Justice Board in working, the Directorate of Women and Child Welfare Department and Secretary State Child Conservation Committee has issued a circular to pay additional honorarium for the period which they have worked in
3 excess. For sometime they have been paid additional honorarium for extra work they have done, however, now they have stopped therefore, petitioner has submitted representations to different authorities, however, none of the representations were considered and decided and therefore, direction be issued to concerned authority to consider and decide the representation of petitioner. 3.
Learned State counsel would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only raising grievance towards her unconsidered representation and is seeking direction to concerned authority to consider and decide the pending representation, he is having no objection. 4. On due consideration of submission made by counsel for respective parties and nature of grievances as raised by this writ petition before this Court during course of their argument, without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of at this stage, directing respondents to consider and take decision on pending representation of petitioner in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a further period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this
Order.
5. Petitioner will be at liberty to file fresh representation and if such representation is submitted by the petitioner, that representation shall also be considered and decided by respondents along with the pending representations.
