Mr.Vashishtha Tiwari, learned advocate appears on behalf of petitioner and submits, his client had made deposit of Rs. 25 lacs in Account no. 78638600185, under Global Golden Scheme sponsored by Sahara Universal Multipurpose Society Ltd., impleaded as respondent no.5, through its Managing Director. Prayer of his client is for direction to ensure refund/payment of the amount to his client. 2. He relies on order dated 29th March 2023 of the Supreme Court in I.A. no. 56308 of 2023 made in Writ Petition (C) no. 191 of 2022 (Pinak Pani Mohanty Vs. Union of India and others). 3. Ms. Sujata Chaudhary, learned advocate, Central Govt. Advocate appears on behalf of Union of India. 4. Reproduced below is clause (i) under paragraph 3 from Pinak Pani Mohanty (supra). "3.(i) Out of the total amount of Rs. 24,979.67 Crores lying in the “Sahara-SEBI Refund Account”, Rs. 5000 Crores be transferred to the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies, who, in turn, shall disburse the same against the legitimate dues of the depositors of the Sahara Group of Cooperative Societies, which shall be paid to the genuine depositors in the most transparent manner and on proper identification and on submitting proof of their deposits and proof of their claims and to be deposited in their respective bank accounts directly."
