By way of the present writ petition, the petitioners have sought issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing the impugned demand of Rs.7,65,625/- raised by respondent Nos.2 and 3 in respect of the allotted corner plot No.24, Block-A, Sector 89, SAS Nagar, Mohali (Annexure P-5). A further prayer has been made for issuance of direction to the respondents to refund the amount of Rs.7,65,625/- along with other charges, which was deposited by the petitioner(s) with the office of respondent Nos.2 and 3.

Learned counsel for both the parties are ad idem that the issue involved in the present petition is squarely covered by the judgment dated 20.02.2025 passed by a Co- ordinate Bench of this Court in Daulat Ram Bhatti vs. State of Punjab and others, CWP-9717-2019 (Annexure P-12).

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of in the same terms as in CWP-9717-2019.
