The authority issued letter dated 4th April, 2025 alleging suppression. His client by letter dated 22nd April, 2025 replied to the notice. He seeks direction for the authority to issue the passport. Mr. Rajesh Kumar Jaiswal, learned advocate, Central Government Counsel appears on behalf of Union of India and submits, in spite of being called, petitioner did not appear before respondent no.3. Mr. Nazir disputes the submission and submits, his client is ready to appear as and when called upon. Respondent no.3 is directed to consider reply dated 22nd April, 2025 to said notice dated 4th April, 2025. Petitioner will communicate certified copy of this order along with copies of said notice and his reply to respondent no.3. He will also present himself, if called upon to do so. Within three weeks of the communication, either the passport is to be issued or reason(s) informed to petitioner for rejection of his application. The writ petition is disposed of.
