The Petitioner is before this Court seeking for the following reliefs: a) Issue a writ of mandamus directing R1 to consider the representations 18.04.2025 (2 Nos) at Annexure-E and E1 and direct the respondents to - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44381 WP No. 30124 of 2025 make payment of the pending bills amount to Rs.3,31,701/- (Rupees Three Lakh Thirty-One Thousand Seven Hundred and one only) in the work orders dated 07.09.2025 along with an interest at 18% per annum from the date it is due till the date of payments. b) Grant such other relief’s as may be found expedient in the interest of justice and equity. 3. The grievance of the petitioner is that as regards the works completed by the petitioner in terms of which the petitioner has raised various bills, the amounts required to be paid have not been paid, as such representations have been submitted at Annexures-E and E1 which have also not been considered. 4. Whenever any bills are raised on a Statutory Authority, it is required for such State Authority to consider the same and pass necessary orders either accepting or rejecting the bills which are raised. Neither having been done, I pass the following: ORDER i. Respondents are directed to consider the bills raised along with supporting documents and the representations submitted by the Petitioner at - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:44381 WP No. 30124 of 2025 Annexures-E and E1 within a period of 45 days from date of receipt of copy of this order. ii. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the entitlement of the petitioner. iii. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed.
