GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 3718 of 2021 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ, order or direction more in the nature of WRIT OF MANDAMUS, declaring the action of the respondents 3 to 5 in summoning the Petitioner to the 3rd respondent Police Station and detaining hours together in the 3rd respondent Police Station and abusing the Petitioner and his mother in filthy language at the instigation of the 6th respondent without there being any crime against the Petitioner is as illegal, arbitrary, unjust and viiolative of principles enshrined under the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents 3 to 5 not to summon the Petitioner to the 3rd respondent Police Station and not to detain the Petitioner in the 3rd respondent Police Station without there being any crime against the Petitioner, and pass.…” 2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of, since the relief has become infructuous in this matter. 3.
