GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: 2 “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents No. 4 86 5 in not registering the complaints dt. 12.07.2021 and 14.07.2021 and interfering with the civil dispute between the petitioner and 6th Respondent with regard to the agricultural lands admeasuring Ac.5.47 Cents in Sy.No.157/3, Ac.2.95 Cents in Sy.No.160/6, Ac.0.16 Cents in Sy.No.161/6 and Ac.0.98 Cents in Sy.No.198/2 of A. Narayanapuram Village, Ananthapuram Rural, Ananthapuram District is illegal, arbitrary, unconstitutional and violative of articles 14, 16 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and contrary to the police Standing Orders and consequently direct the Respondents to register the complaints dt. 12.07.2021 and 14.07.2021 and not to interfere in the civil disputes between the petitioner and 6th Respondent with regard to the agricultural lands to an extent of Ac.5.74 Cent in Sy no. 157/3, to an extent of Ac. 2.95 cents in Sy no. 160/6, to an extent of Ac. 0.16 cents in Sy No. 161/6 and to an extent of Ac. 0.95 cents in Sy no. 198/2 of A. Narayanapuram Village, Ananthapuram Rural Mandal, Ananthapuram District.” 2. Sri G.R.Sudhakar, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, this Court, by virtue of interim order dated 26.07.2021, directed the Respondent – Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties, however, Police did not choose to register the crime though their representation is pending with them since 2021. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the subject matter is of civil nature and hence, the Police have not registered the crime against the unofficial Respondent. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the Petitioner to work out her remedies before appropriate forum in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
