This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “…to issue a Writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in summoning the petitioner to police station and forcing him to settle the matters as per the directions of 5th respondent as illegal.arbitrary and without any authority and consequently direct the 3rd respondent not to interfere in Civil matters between petitioner's family and respondents 4 and 5”. 2. Heard Sri P.Gangarami Reddy, learned counsel for petitioner and Sri V.Farook, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station and forcing him to settle the civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for respondents, on instructions, would submit that police are not interfering in the civil dispute between the parties. 5. Recording the same, the writ petition is disposed of. However, police are directed not to interfere in the civil dispute, except under due process of law.
