INDIRESH ORAL ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioner is assailing the communication made by the respondent No.6 in a letter dated 19th October, 2024 (Annexure-K) addressed to the respondent No.2-College and order dated 22nd October, 2024 (Annexure-L) passed by the respondent No.2-College; inter alia sought for direction to the respondents to correct the name, Date of Birth, Father Name and Place of Birth in School records, Transfer Certificate, Marks Cards and Student Achievement Tracking System (SATS) Record of the petitioner. 2. Heard Sri. S. Lakshminarayana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner; Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1, 3 and 5 to 7; and Sri. M.A. Subramani, learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.4. 3. Sri. S. Lakshminarayana, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, by referring to the Transfer Certificate produced at Annexure-A issued by the Jnanabharati Primary - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25665 WP NO.5788 OF 2025 School submits that, there is discrepancy with regard to the aforementioned aspects relating to the petitioner and the same is crept on account of wrong information setout by the previous school in which the petitioner had studied. Further, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the previous school in which the petitioner studied has been closed. Accordingly, he sought for interference of this Court. 4. Smt. B.P. Radha, learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1, 3 and 5 to 7 contended that the Court decree is required for making corrections in the name of the petitioner. Accordingly, she sought for dismissal of the writ petition. 5. In the light of submission made by learned counsel appearing for the parties, on careful examination of the writ papers, the same would indicate that the name of the petitioner is Ankitha D/o Venkateshwara and the Date of Birth of the petitioner is shown as 02nd June, 2005. In that view of the matter, I am of the view that the respondents shall make necessary corrections in the Educational records pertaining to the petitioner herein as stated above. Therefore, respondents 3 - 5 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:25665 WP NO.5788 OF 2025 to 7 are directed to make necessary corrections in the Educational records of the petitioner as requested by the petitioner at the earliest, in any event, within an outer limit of one month from the date of receipt of this order. It is needless to state that the petitioner shall file affidavit before the respondents 4 to 7 with regard to correct details of the petitioner and based on the same, respondents 3 to 7 shall make corrections in the Educational records pertaining to the petitioner.
