This Court, vide order dated 01.05.2025, passed in MCRC No. 2818 of 2025, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Shahnawaj Khan and Raj Namdev, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) through learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 30.10.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that the present case is at the stage of examination of accused persons, but due to absence of the accused persons before the trial Court for recording their statements, the arrest warrants have been issued against them, therefore, the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of 06 months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
