He had filed a rent peon bearing No.37 of 2019 under Secon 13 of the East Punjab Urban Rent Restricon Act, seeking ejectment of the respondents from the demised premise, which is pending in the Court of learned Rent Controller, Kapurthala. 2. The simple prayer made in this peon is to direct learned Rent Controller to dispose of the peon in a me bound manner. A3enon is drawn towards the fact that rent peon in queson was filed way back in the year 2019. The peon was filed against as many as 17 respondents. Only respondent Nos.16 and 17 are the contesng respondents as rest of the respondents are proceeded ex parte. With the help of various interim orders passed by the Rent Controller, it is pointed out that ever since 08.04.2024, the case is fixed for assessing of rent. 3.
