It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner's father late Sri.Bettadarayappa @ Bettaiah was granted 1 acre of land in Sy.No.8 of Huchanapalya, Dasanapura Hobli, Bengaluru North Taluk. It is contended that the petitioner's father name was entered in the RTC as seen at Annexure-A which is the RTC is of the year - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC:38095 WP No. 28642 of 2025 1978-79. The petitioner has given a representation to the Tahsildar seeking entry of the name of his father in the computerised RTC and thereafter, to enter the name of the petitioner. 3. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent-Tahsildar, Bangalore North Taluk, to verify from the records and find out if grant was made in favour of the petitioner's father and if the petitioner's father has paid the kimath. If it is found from the records that the facts stated hereinabove are true, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the grantee in the computerised RTC. Subsequently, the respondent- Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the computerised RTC in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
