ORDER:
Declaring the action of the respondents in trying to dispossess the petitioners from their agricultural lands to an extent of Ac.27.00 cents in Sy.No.197 & 198 of Swarnavarigudem Village, Jeelugumilli Mandal, West Godavari District, without following the provisions of Andhra Pradesh Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and without giving any notice as illegal and arbitrary, the present writ petition is filed.
2. Heard Sri Gandhan S.R.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioners, Sri Y.Koteswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat and Smt.Naga Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner while reiterating the contents of the affidavit contended that the when the respondent authorities tried to dispossess the petitioners from the subject lands, they filed the present writ petition and this Court, on 03.08.2023 granted an interim order directing the respondents not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners’ subject property and prayed to dispose of the writ petition treating interim orders as final orders.
4. On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel for Gram Panchayat on written instructions dated 05.12.2025 submitted that the Gram Panchayat was not interfering or trying to evict the petitioners from the

subject property, the writ petition is devoid of merits and liable to be dismissed, accordingly, prayed to dismiss the writ petition.

Taking their submissions into consideration, as the respondents are not interfering with the possession of the petitioners’ subject property and in view of the interim orders passed by this Court on 03.08.2023, there is no purpose in keeping the writ petition pending inviting counter, as such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition by passing the following order:
“The respondents are directed not to take any coercive steps against the petitioners’ subject property except under due process of law.”
6. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no
order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. _____________________________
