PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court Made the Following Order: The instant petition under Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed by the Petitioner herein, seeking extension of time granted by the II Additional District & Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, for depositing 20% of the compensation amount. 2. Heard Sri K.S.S.Narayana, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.K.Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent No.1/State. 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that due to the ill health of the petitioner’s father, the petitioner had to admit him to the hospital and incurred substantial expenses for his treatment. Unfortunately, the petitioner’s father could not survive, causing the petitioner to suffer both mentally and financially. Hence, he prays that this Court grant a short extension of time to deposit the amount fixed by the Court. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. However, the petitioner shall deposit the amount as fixed by the learned II Additional District & Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, vide order dated 22.10.2024 in Crl.M.P. No. 646 of 2024 in Criminal Appeal MU. No. 331 of 2024, by 25.11.2025, failing which this petition shall stand dismissed without recourse to this Court for any further orders.
