The petitioner states that he had leased out one of the shops to the second respondent for running a mobile phone and accessories business. However, it is alleged that the second respondent, in violation of the terms of the lease, has sublet the premises to the third respondent. It is further alleged that the third respondent is running a slaughterhouse in the said premises without obtaining the requisite licence or permission from the competent authority. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation to the first respondent seeking appropriate action against the third respondent. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the petitioner’s representation would be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court. 3.The said submission is placed on record. 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.30376 of 2025 4.In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 24.07.2025, on its own merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner as well as respondents 2 and 3, and pass appropriate orders. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
