ORDER
1. This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the contingent bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner.
2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- Corporation.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the work, viz.,(i) providing oil engines and cleaning of bund of Vengalayapalem (Canal) Cheruvu area in Α.Ε. 10 section, (ii) supply and delivery of Agriculture hand operated brush cutters 2.2 KW, 7500, RPM, 2 stroke petrol Engine to West Divisions Sanitary supervisors etc., including cost of all materials and all type of labour charges on hire basis to site etc., complete to work, (iii) engaging of JCB on hire basis for desilation in Peekalavaagu (from SPS High School to Kankaragunta Gate) including hire charges, fuel charges and wages of driver etc., complete as per SS, (iv) arrangements of Chalivendrams in various places Lodge Center, Koritepadu center, Lakshmipuram main raod, Sankarvilas center, Arundelpet Railway station (west side main

gate) in A.E.-1 section, (v) engaging of JCB on Hire basis for desilation in Peekalavaagu including Hire charges Fuel Charges and wages of driver etc., as entrusted by the 8th respondent.
4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works to the satisfaction of the 8th respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, final quality assessments were also done by the agency employed by the 8th respondent and thereafter the petitioner has submitted a final bill for a sum of Rs.6,24,438/- and the 8th respondent approved the same, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner.
5. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 8th respondent does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken.
6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 3, 5 to 9 are hereby
directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
8. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
