1. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not releasing the family pension to the Petitioner as illegal and arbitrary.
2. According to the Petitioner, the Petitioner is the legally weded wife of late Peikala Yesudasu and their marriage was solemnized in the year 1974 and they have three kids namely Mery, Sunil and Samson. While so, the said Yesudasu had expired on 05.09.2020 during Covid-19 pandamic while working as Deputy Tahsildar in Prakasam District. The Petitioner had applied for family pension. Thereafter, the Petitioner came to know that some other person is claiming benefits. Though the Petitioner made a representation to release the family pension on 08.09.2025, no communication was received from the Respondent Authorities.
3. This Court, after hearing the learned counsel for the Petitioner on 17.10.2025, directed the learned Government Pleader to produce original Service Register of the deceased

Yesudasu.
4. Today, the learned Government Pleader produced the original Service Register before this Court. As per the Service Register, Smt. P. Lakshmi is shown as the ‘wife’ of the late Yesudasu, while ‘P. Sunil, P.S.Kiran, P.B. Bhanu Prakash, P. Samson and P. Anudeep’ are declared as the sons, and ‘Kum P. Mariamma’ is the daughter of Yesudasu. The name of the Petitioner is not shown as ‘Wife’ in the Service Register.
5. As there is a dispute regarding the status and entitlement of the claim of the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of, leaving it open to the Petitioner to work out her legal remedies before the appropriate Civil Court. There shall be no order as to costs.
