This criminal misc. application is filed under Section 528 of B.N.S.S. by the petitioners/accused with prayer to quash impugned charge-sheet no.19 of 2024 dated 02.01.2025, impugned cognizance/summoning order dated 01.04.2025 as well as entire proceedings arising out of Special Session Trial No.15 of 2025, “State Vs. Lalit Bhatt & Others” (FIR No.0016 of 2024) punishable U/s 109, 351(2)(3), 352, 190, 191(2)(3), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 and U/s 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Challani P.S.-Dwarahat, District-Almora pending in the Court of learned Special Sessions Judge, Almora, in view of the compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. In view of the fact that a Compounding Application was filed by the parties before this Court, this 1 2025:UHC:3828 Court vide order dated 25.04.2025 had directed the parties to appear before the Secretary, DLSA, Dwarahat, District Almora in order to get their statements recorded and to verify the compromise deed. 3. Pursuant to such order, the Secretary, DLSA, Dwarahat, District Almora has submitted his report dated 05.05.2025 which clearly indicates that the parties have settled the dispute amicably and have also verified the contents of the compromise. 4. In view of the above, Compounding Application (IA No.1 of 2025) is allowed. As a consequence thereof, the entire proceedings arising out of Special Session Trial No.15 of 2025, “State Vs. Lalit Bhatt & Others” (FIR No.0016 of 2024) punishable U/s 109, 351(2)(3), 352, 190, 191(2)(3), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita, 2023 and U/s 3(1)(r), 3(1)(s) of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Challani P.S.-Dwarahat, District- Almora pending in the Court of learned Special Sessions Judge, Almora are hereby quashed qua the petitioners. 5.
