Standing Counsel for the APEPDCL. 2. Since this Writ Petition is of the year 2015, on 31.10.2025, this Court had directed the Ld. Counsel for the Writ Petitioner to obtain complete instructions as regards the existence of cause of action. At that point of time, this Court had also indicated that if no instructions are forthcoming from the Writ Petitioner, this Court would consider dismissing the Writ Petition for non- prosecution. 3. The prayer sought in the present Writ Petition would indicate the Petitioner is questioning the action of the Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 in trying to erect electrical towers in the middle of the Petitioner’s land. The docket indicates that this Court has not granted any interim protection to the Writ Petitioner. Therefore, this Court is of the view that the cause of action may not survive. 4. Today, there is no representation on behalf of the Writ Petitioner. 5. In this view of the matter, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non- prosecution. No order as to costs. 6. The Registry is directed to preserve the record of this Writ Petition for a period of ten (10) weeks. If the Writ Petitioner is of the view that the cause of action still survives, the Writ Petitioner is given liberty to file an Application for Restoration within eight (08) weeks from the date of uploading of this Order on the web-site of this Court. If no attempt is made by the Writ 3 Petitioner within eight (08) weeks as stated above, the Registry is at liberty to destroy the Writ Petition record as per the Rules after ten (10) weeks. 7.
