PUBLIC PROSECUTOR 4 HN,J W.P.No.32034 of 2025 The Court made the following Order: This present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the proposal to constitute a Committee for identification of street vending areas and the subsequent proceedings initiated in pursuance of the Andhra Pradesh Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Rules, 2017. 2. Mr. A.S.C. Bose, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent submits that the Street Vendors Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending Act, 2014 would mandate the procedure for identification of areas for street vending. 3. Section 21 of the Act pertains to plan for street vending and Chapter VII of the Act from Sections 22 to 26, deals with the constitution of Town Vending Committee. 4. It is submitted that Committees have been constituted in pursuance of the Act and also the directions of the Hon’ble Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(PIL)No.81 of 2025 and 103 of 2025. 5. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
