The contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that despite the petitioner made representation on 28.07.2025 for deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory list furnished under Section 22-A(1) of the Registration Act, 1908, no action has been taken so far. DR,J WP.No.25589 of 2025 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader has submitted that the application for deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory list has to be made through online. 5. Considering the submissions made by both the learned counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, by granting liberty to the petitioner to submit an online application seeking for deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory list within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of such application, the 2nd respondent – District Collector shall consider the same after getting report from the concerned officers and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
