The instant Writ Petition is filed by the Petitioners seeking indulgence of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
“ .... to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declare.i.the action of the respondent No.2 to 4 police officials in continuing the Rowdy Sheet against the petitioners which were opened on the proceedings of the Respondent No.3 vide proceedings 1). 2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondent Police on instructions would submit that no crimes are pending and no rowdy sheet is opened against the Petitioners and this Writ Petition may be
disposed of by passing appropriate orders.
3. Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that recording the said submission, this Writ Petition may be disposed of.
4. In that view, this Writ Petition is allowed. The Proceedings of the respondent authorities are hereby set aside. No order as to costs. Pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
