Choudhury, learned senior counsel, assisted by Mr. M.M. Kashyap, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. P. Sarma, learned standing counsel, Fishery Department, for the respondent Nos. 1 & 6 and Mr. K. Gogoi, learned Additional Senior Government Advocate, Assam, for the respondent Nos. 2 to 5. 2. The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner M/S Satgaon Jalgutha Meen Samabay Samity Ltd. represented by its Secretary and is praying for a direction to the Additional Chief Secretary, Fishery Department, Assam for consideration of the representation made by the petitioner on 24.12.2024. The said representation has been filed by the petitioner praying for withdrawal of the surrender application, which was submitted on 10.05.2022 against 165/166/167/168 No. Purana Sonai/Sola Garanga/Sukhraj Group Meen Mahal and also to waive the outstanding revenue of Rs.5,01,466/- and for granting extension for 2 (two) years for operating the said Meen Mahal. Considering the short prayer involved and the same not being objected by the learned standing counsel, Fishery Department as well as the Additional Senior Government Advocate, Assam, this writ petition is disposed of directing the Additional Chief Secretary, Fishery Department/Respondent No. 1 to consider the representation filed by the petitioner on 24.12.2024 and dispose of the same by a speaking order and in accordance with law within a period of 2 (two) weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4.
