Respondent Prayer : Criminal Appeal filed under Sections 374(2) of Cr.P.C., against the judgment passed by the learned Principal Special Judge for CBI cases in C.C.No.36 of 1998 on 11.06.2019 convicting the appellant for the offences under Section (i) 120(B) r/w 420, 109 r/w 420, 467, 471 r/w 467, 468 IPC r/w 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c) and (d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 sentencing him to undergo RI for 3 yeas and to pay fine of Rs.10,000/- in default to undergo SI for 7 months. (ii) Sec 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (7 counts) and sentencing him to undergo RI for 3 years and to pay a total fine of Rs.70,000/- (Rs.10,000/- for each count) in default to undergo SI for 9 months.
