Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents have not acquired the land belonging to the petitioner. However, they have illegally got their names mutated in the revenue records pertaining to the said land. It is further submitted that the petitioner has already preferred an appropriate application before the competent Tehsildar seeking correction of the revenue entries and the said application is presently pending consideration. Learned counsel, therefore, prays that the concerned Tehsildar be directed to consider and decide the said application in accordance with law within a stipulated period. 2. Learned State counsel submits that if any application preferred by the petitioner is pending before the competent revenue authority, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law. He further submits that the State has no objection if an appropriate direction is issued to the concerned Tehsildar for expeditious consideration of the petitioner's application. 3. Learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 4 submits that respondent No. 4 shall abide by any order that may be passed by the competent revenue authority in accordance with law. It is further submitted that respondent No. 4 has no objection to the 3 petitioner's application being considered and decided by the concerned Tehsildar on its own merits. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions advanced by learned counsel for the parties, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the concerned Tehsildar to issue notice to all interested and affected parties and, after affording them due opportunity of hearing, to consider and decide the petitioner's pending application by passing an appropriate reasoned order in accordance with law. 6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed expeditiously, preferably within a reasonable period from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
