This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:

“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring action of the 1st Respondent and its subordinates in interfering with petitioners peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioners property without any notice or due process of law in respect of the land to an extent of admeasuring Ac.4-30 cents in Sy. Nos. 115, 115/Part of Motupalli village, Chinaganjam Mandal, Prakasam District as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to law.”
2. Sri Thota Rama Koteswara Rao, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, let there be a direction to the Police not to interfere in the possession and enjoyment of the Petitioners over the subject property.
3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, would submit that the Police are not interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the Petitioners over the subject property.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere in the Petitioners’ peaceful possession and enjoyment of the subject property, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
