This writ petition was filed questioning the action of the respondents in deciding to assign the lands admeasuring an extents of Ac.0-31 cents in R.S.No.80-2, Ac.0.51 cents (80-3), Ac.0-28 cents (80- 4), Ac.1-60 cents (84- 1), Ac.0-43 cents (84-2), Ac.1-17 cents (84-3), Ac.0-58 cents (372-2), Ac.3-51 cents (372-3), Ac.1-46 cents (372-6), Ac.0-08 cents (372-4), Ac.0-76 cents (404-1), Ac.0-25 cents (404-2), Ac.1-04 (405-3), Ac.0-90 cents (405-4), Ac.1- 39 cents (405-5), Ac.1-43 cents (405-6), Ac.0-29 cents (406-1), Ac.7-74 cents (378- 6), Ac.1-46 cents (379-1), Ac.0-26 cents (379-3) and Ac.0-24 (404-14) of Avanigadda Village, Avanigadda, Ac.2-02 cents in R.S.No.63-2 of Edlalanka Village, total Ac.27-89 cents, situated in Avanigadda and Edlalanka Village, Avanigadda Mandal, Krishna District, to the landless poor persons for house sites under the guise of Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu program. 3. On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader relying upon the written instructions of the 3rd respondent dated 23.09.2025 submits that the subject land was acquired from the private pattadars under the voluntary land acquisition process for providing house sites to the houseless poor for the welfare scheme of housing and the land owners took the compensation awarded for their lands without raising any objection and handed over the lands. The acquired land was divided into plots and they 3 HBKM,J W.P.No.13651 of 2020 were distributed to 805 individual beneficiaries and some of them constructed the houses in the said layout.
