Sharma, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 1; and Mr. A. Priyokumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2. None appeared for respondent No. 3, despite service of notice. The present application has been field with a prayer to grant leave to the applicant to produce and file the original copies of the letter dated 27.05.2022 issued by the then DTO, Imphal West, Govt. of Manipur along with vehicle’s details of Maruti Gypsy Reg. No. MN01G9009(1995) of which photocopies whereof have already been filed along with the written statement filed by the present applicant in connection with the election recrimination petition. Mr. H.S. Paonam, learned senior counsel appearing for respondent No. 1, submitted that respondent No. 1 will not have any objection in allowing the present application, subject to the condition that the said original documents may be allowed to be filed only for the purpose of comparing/verification of the photostat copies of the documents filed by the applicant along with the written statement, LAIREN MAYUM INDRAJ EET SINGH Digitally signed by LAIRENMAYU M INDRAJEET SINGH Date: 2025.02.26 16:27:02 +05'30' 2 which are enclosed as Annexure B/9 to the written statement and also subject to the payment of costs. Mr. A. Priyokumar, learned counsel appearing for respondent No. 2, submitted that he has no objection in allowing the present application. Mr. Ajoy Pebam, learned counsel appearing for the applicant, submitted that the applicant is willing to pay cost and the present application may be allowed subject to payment of such cost. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties and on perusal of the record, this Court is of the considered view that interest of justice will be served by allowing the present application with the following directions:- (i) The applicant is granted leave to file the original documents of the photostat copies filed by the applicant along with his written statement which are marked as Annexure- B/9 only for the purpose of comparing/verification and subject to payment of cost of Rs. 5,000/- (Rupees Five Thousand). (ii) The applicant is to deposit the said cost to the High Court Bar Association, Manipur, for the purpose of relief materials of the internally displaced people within a period of 2(two) days from today. With the aforesaid direction, the present application stands disposed of. JUDGE Indrajeet
