By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioners have prayed for following relief as substantial relief: "i) a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding/ directing the respondent no. 2 to consider and decide the objections dated 25.04.2025 raised/ moved by the petitioners against the tentative seniority list of the cadre of Additional District Panchayat Raj Officers (Technical) published on 23.04.2025 forthwith or within stipulated period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court and thereafter only the final seniority list be published (Contained as Annexure Nos. 13 and 12 to this Writ petition respectively)." It is contended on behalf of the petitioners that petitioners' objections already filed to the tentative seniority list published on 23.04.2025 has remained unconsidered till date. Learned Standing Counsel submits that he has no objection in the event this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned competent respondent to decide the petitioners' objection and pass appropriate order strictly in accordance with law. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction that the concerned competent respondent shall consider and decide the petitioner's objections against the tentative seniority list published on 23.04.2025 after giving opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. Needless to add the order to be passed by the competent authority, as directed herein above, shall be reasoned and speaking one.
