GP FOR REVENUE The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief: “…to issue an appropriate Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in not mutating the petitioner’s name in the revenue records and in not issuing Pattadar Passbooks and Title Deeds in respect of the petitioner’s agricultural lands admeasuring Ac.0.50 cents in Survey No.143, Ac.1.07½ cents in Survey No.154/1, Ac.0.12½ cents in Survey No.173/3, and Ac.0.34 cents in Survey No.412, situated at Pedda Nagulapuram Village, Markapuram Mandal, Prakasam District, as illegal, arbitrary, and contrary to the provisions of the A.P. Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and consequently direct the 4th respondent to mutate the petitioner’s name in the revenue records and issue Pattadar Passbooks in respect of the aforesaid land by considering the petitioner’s representation dated 07.08.2025 and pass…” 2. It is the case of the petitioner that the name of her husband had already been mutated in the revenue records and Pattadar Passbooks were issued in his favour. The petitioner’s husband passed away in the year 2021, and soon thereafter, she made an application for mutation. As her attempts to submit an online application were not accepted, she 4 submitted a physical application in Form–6A along with a representation dated 07.08.2025. 3. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent authorities to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 07.08.2025 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
